Welcome to MommyDecorates.com 1st blog post. I can’t believe the opening day has finally arrived. It’s exciting and humbling to look back over the last month and remember the creative blocks, stress and tears that I cried while putting this blog together from scratch. I had to discover over a short period of time that I needed more time during the day to get things done. I quickly learned that getting up 5:00 am while my home was still quiet was a great way to add more quality hours to my day. I start off my day by praying to God and asking Him to lead and guide me every step of the way as a wife, mother, mentor, friend and now blogger.

I came up with the idea to start a blog over a year ago, but I just didn’t feel that the time was right. I started to do my research then, but halted my ideas altogether due to the birth of my 2nd child. I recently felt the strong urge to start up a blog again in August 2012. I spent a lot of time contemplating the idea because I had absolutely no idea how to start a blog. Well, after countless hours researching and creating the pages of MommyDecorates.com it came altogether piece by piece like a puzzle. This wonderful blog is mix of decorating and entertaining ideas. Please give MommyDecorates.com a chance to continue to add rich content, pages, posts, better pictures, and time to make any necessary changes. Please understand that I am not a photographer, but I am going to start training myself how to take better pictures. I am excited to share with you so many new things. Mommy
